Percy Cottage

Located within the centre of Royal Tunbridge Wells' Pantiles, LMBA were approached to advise on the proposed development of a Grade II listed cottage which had been subjected to fire damage. The client sought to create an additional bedroom and bathroom at first floor level, as well as a full internal refurbishment throughout. The listed nature of the dwelling required carefully consideration with the local authority to ensure the approval of 3.No conservation roof lights to the rear, as well as a new dormer window.

LMBA completed a feasibility study, secured both planning and listed building consent, provided technical design specifications and managed the works on site to completion.

Note: It was requested by the council that the existing 'wonky' dormer to the front was retained in its current appearance.
